When my dear client lost his sister unexpectedly, he had to go through the process of selling her home. This process can be emotionally and logistically difficult. I came in and helped him effectively update his sister's house in a timely and manner, and under budget. It's amazing what a little glow-up can do!

Situated on a wonderful block in Poets Corner, this home had wonderful updates over the years, but it needed a refresh and a bit of a better flow to the kitchen. We opened up a wall to widen the space, installed all new cabinets, appliances, and countertops. In addition, we updated the primary bath to be more modern and clean. We refreshed the backyard, as well. With all new lighting - an affordable update - this home shined. Such an amazing transformation!

This Spanish Mediterranean was one of my favorite homes in Berkeley, with a spiral "princess" staircase and soaring 18ft ceilings that led to bay and city views - it was magical. With such homes, many of the walls were plaster, so there had been some cracks due to settling. We carefully fixed and painted all the walls to update them for the next owner to enjoy the history of the home, without compromising the architectural details.

This may have been the biggest transformation to date! We opened up the kitchen, replaced the mismatched floors with all white oak hardwood throughout, and refreshed with new paint and wallpaper. On the exterior, we had to pour a new driveway, install a new fence, remove an old shed, and landscaped the yard. I was lucky enough to find some leftover Fireclay tile for the hallway bath which completely modernized it. By relocating the laundry, we improved the flow of the home, as well.
